The comprehensive survey of plasterworks conducted on the circa 1920s Grade II* American Beaux-Arts style building served as a crucial foundation for determining the condition and viability of areas requiring either repair or replication. The restoration efforts were particularly focused on the central arcade ceiling, and extensive support installations were carried out in the heritage corridors spanning all seven floors of the building.

The restoration process involved intricate replication and repair work, transforming these historically significant elements into integral components of contemporary office spaces. A notable achievement was the in-house manufacturing of over 12,000 linear meters of replicated cornice, which were meticulously crafted and subsequently installed by our team of skilled tradesmen.

Given the historical and architectural importance of the building, precision and attention to detail were paramount throughout the project. The restoration works included careful examination and assessment of the existing plasterworks, with a keen eye on preserving the authenticity of the Beaux-Arts style while ensuring structural integrity.

The project, with a total budget of 1.2 million, presented a formidable challenge with an exceptionally tight 12-month timeline. The urgency demanded a well-coordinated effort from our team of 26 operatives, who worked tirelessly to meet the stringent deadlines without compromising on the quality of the restoration.

The restoration of the central arcade ceiling was executed with finesse, addressing any deterioration or damage that had occurred over the years. Simultaneously, the heritage corridors, which bore the brunt of wear and tear, underwent full support installations to rectify structural issues. The incorporation of replicated and repaired elements seamlessly blended the historical charm of the building with the functionality required for modern office spaces.

The in-house manufacturing of the extensive cornice replication underscored our commitment to maintaining authenticity and precision. Each detail was carefully crafted to match the original design, ensuring a seamless integration with the existing architectural elements.

The success of the project can be attributed not only to the technical expertise of our team but also to their efficiency and dedication. The completion of such an intricate restoration within the stipulated time frame is a testament to the meticulous planning and execution that went into the project. The revitalized Beaux-Arts style building now stands as a testament to the successful marriage of heritage restoration and contemporary functionality.
